The Whole Essence of Our Problems
I’m sorry to make you upset but if you have no problems at all then probably nobody will show interest in you. Why? Because you’re able to bring something valuable into people’s lives just a bit better than a dead man.
But don’t worry. As far as I know there’s no person in the world who have no problems. I’m just trying to say something that you may have not thought about earlier.
Everyone have problems. But not much people think their problems may be less of a curse and much more of a blessing.
It’s always about the man himself
As you can see from famous people’s lives it’s not the problem that defines your life course it’s the man himself who turns everything he gets into what he wants.
Those people who feel good about their lives are often have lots of problems. And many of them go through really big life disasters.
Any problem or tragedy can make something unbearable or impossible. But our body and mind have proved themselves to be often way beyond known (or desired?) limits.
So I can say it is only you who set the rules. You can define what can be done and what not.
Who’s making the decisions?
Now back to the curses and blessings. If WE decide what should be impossible, our problems can be turned from cause of our failures to cause of our success.
When I was a teenager I was engaged in athletics. I used to be a long distance runner. Once upon a time it was my turn to run at regional competitions. But couple of hours before the start I was feeling bad. But I didn’t quit and to my surprise I came to the finish line first.
Frankly speaking I was supposed either to quit or to come among the latter runners. But I did win precisely because of my feeling unwell.
Now I see that I was unlikely to win if I felt good that day. It was my bad being that caused me to run like hell. I pushed myself harder because I was afraid to be the last due to poor health.
Using problems like fuel
That is a good example of what can be done with your sickness, disability, poverty, etc. And it is very very scanty.
Moreover I think you wouldn’t be reading this article right now from the screen of your computer (which size and abilities was a science fiction like 30 years ago) if not the ubiquitous problems. They caused almost everything we have right now and keep moving us forward.
So if you want to continue succeeding instead of failing, live an interesting life and be interesting to those who surround you, you simply need to stop stuffing your problems under the rug. It’s better to use them at your advantage until they’ll pile up into something big and irredeemable.
