Changing an Old Habit
It all started with my recent liver problems. Besides I wrote a lot from other people doing this successfully and fruitfully. So I decided to do that too at least for a week and then see what happens and if this will help me to feel better.
There are many people fighting with their bad habits but drinking coffee is not considered as dangerous at least until you drink it more than three pints a day.
Besides, I personally don’t consider it as dangerous. And I know for sure that I won’t quit it forever (I don’t want to). But I really want to exclude it from my daily pleasures until my stomach and liver will feel themselves better.
And why don’t make it public. I confessed to my wife and… you. I think that’s enough. So I start my miserable coffee-free life today.
Oh, you’re thinking: what’s so important about what this guy drinks or not? Well… maybe you should consider doing this with me or changing something else that you are doing daily.
I will miss my coffee doses (especially morning ones) even it will last only for a week. But desire to change things that become predictable and therefore less interesting and pleasurable is much more than this.
Maybe I’ll even end up replacing coffee with some other new hilarious drink (and no it’s not Whisky, I drink it only five times a month).
So now when you are so jealous about my new change, why not start thinking of what will refresh your predictable life?
